Dr. Taylor Metcalf D.M.D., M.S. was raised in Sandy, Utah. He attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate studies. From an early age, he had an interest in the dental field and in particular, orthodontics. He decided to pursue dentistry and he received his D.M.D from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona where he graduated with the highest honors. Following dental school, he was accepted into the orthodontic residency program at Saint Louis University. Dr. Metcalf was ecstatic to return home to Utah and become of a part of the team at Summit Dental and Orthodontics. When he is not working to create amazing smiles, Dr. Metcalf loves spending time with his wife and two sons. He also loves to mountain bike, go to movies, and spend time outdoors. Dr. Metcalf loves the orthodontic profession and the opportunity to improve the lives of others. He continually participates in continuing education so he can stay up to date on the latest technologies and techniques so that he can provide his patients with the best possible care. Dr. Metcalf knows each smile is unique and takes pride providing his patients with individualized care and focuses on making each visit fun, comfortable, and convenient for the patient.
